It was fantastic seeing some of the familiar faces at the memorial. I think Kimmie would have loved seeing the facial expressions that the poor singer was making as some of Kimmie's more colorful episodes were being described. The best was watching her cover her mouth in shock and amusement as the "pet" hummingbird was discovered to have been named Asshole. I was kind of sorry that no one got up and told more stories, but it would have been so hard to follow that one speech. And the birds competing with the minister for the assembled throng's ears - that had to be Kimmie's way of letting everyone know she was right there with us and still mouthing off at us ;p
