i loved this movie. Didn't realize it was directed by Gondry, that makes it even better for me.

The opening scene on the train and in Montauk are straight out of my life too, so it had me from the beginning.

As far as erasing people from my life, I've been known to say I wasted the last 20 years, someone keeps reminding me thats not the case since I got my 3 children out of it. But even so, I can't help but think, what if?

As far as keeping the experience in order to learn from it, thats the thing I am scared of the most - repeating the same patterns. I definitely have not learned to project the right things yet either.

And another thing Chrys touched on was the right time/right place theory. Sometimes its not, but the connection is strong, which makes it extremely frustrating.
I guess thats life. I need to watch this movie again.

Last but not least - 23, you're trying to have a baby?!?!?!

It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it.

Yep, the wife and I are finally on the same page on this one. For awhile she was ready and I wasn't. Then I was ready and she wasn't. Now we're both ready.

It's up to the fates at this point.

Thats awesome twan. congrats to you and your wife.

You always hear horror stories, but I for one loved being pregnant, even 60 pounds extra on my skinny ass. Its amazing to see nature take over your body, and realize you're not doing a damn thing, but your body knows exactly what to do, all the way up to the delivery.

I hope you guys enjoy that time, it was very special for me. I also love the names you have picked out.

~~~ OMG Everything you said is so true. Also when the time comes, the mother of all pregnancy books is "What To Expect When You're Expecting". There isn't a question that goes unanswered, it's the best.
Thanks ladies.
And tg, my wife has already read about a dozen books on pregnancy, I wouldn't be surprised if that's one of them.
(and I'm not exaggerating, she's been reading books about it for years)
