I think what Julian Beever does is absolutely amazing.
(notice provocative non-spoiler)

My sister sent me a link to this a couple of weeks ago, and I was also thinking of posting it here. I forgot, so I'm glad you did it.

Ooooo That's cool!

Amazing!

What does he use, is it paint or chalk?

My fav was the Coca Cola bottle and the one where it looks like he's taken a piece of the coblestone away.

The Batman and Robin one is AWESOME!

He found the perfect little spot to do that, with that little step as the ledge. The detail is amazing...

I wonder how she preserves the driftwood? Driftwood is very dry, isn't it?

I love the sidewalk art - my fav it the guys in the well. I have to show my Mom this. She's done alot of murals around my town - and there's another guy that looks just like Stephen King that she's competing with. I wonder if this would give her any ideas?

If I were this guy, I'd put a hell pit in Washintgon, DC just to remind those guys.....

Wow. Those horses are absolutely amazing. When you said "driftwood horses," I was imagining something much cheesier. Very cool.

It's amazing how she gets such expression and movement out of them.
