About that, you are definately wrong. I've got proof at home. But we won't go there....
It's a happy time! Off to Amazon you go to by the "What To Expect" book! :) Pregnancy is such a great time - I'm sure you'll both just be giddy (once she's through the puking stage)!
Congratulations to you and your wife! I have no doubt from just knowing you through a forum that you two will be fantastic parents and are indeed in for some fun!

My wife is pretty sure she got pregnant on January 23rd. And we found out today, on February 3rd (2/3).
That's two 23s right there. And you folks thought the whole 23 thing was a load of crap.

Holy crap, she found out pretty quickly. Usually people wait till they are atleast a month along before they run out and buy a pregnancy test at the pharmacy.
Twenty-three's the name then?? lol
Maybe the babe will be born on Sept 23rd. Wouldn't that freak you out.
I was nervous and excited too the first time. There is alot to prepare for and I'm sure someone will throw a baby shower, so that will be fun and help.
So are you going to find out the sex or will it be a surprise? We want ultrasound pics posted. lol J/K

Congrats to Trish too! I remember my Mom telling me that a bunch of people got pregnant after all the blizzards (76?). It's not been cold or nasty this year, but it sure seems like everyone's pregnant! :)

And as I understand it, the seeds are what can lead to issues with "fertility", not ED (heh heh). But you have to smoke like straight seeds and lots of 'em to get there.

And I've been a near-daily smoker for a dozen years, and I've never had a problem with functionality. In fact, it often affects me in a complete opposite manner.
(lump, I thought you were saying you had proof that it affected sperm vitality, not ED).

And the Doctor told us today that it looked like a boy. She said she couldn't be absolutely certain until 20 weeks, but she saw one angle that revealed baby cock.

The second pic shows a penis. They can usually tell the sex at 14 weeks, but 20 they can definetly be positive.

wild how today I come here and see all these baby pics, my babies are ten years old today, an entire decade so they keep reminding me. Their ultrasound pics only showed body parts because they couldn't fit in the entire bodies, so mostly I have 2 globes indicating heads. Ten years ago I was lying exhausted in a hospital bed, (the nurses told me my babies wouldn't stay quiet unless they put them together in one bassinet), and tomorrow night I'll be dealing with a bunch of kids for a sleepover party. I don't know whats worse, lol.

23: Also...I don't know if all boys carry the same, but it's been my experience that a boy carries high until the last month and a half or so. Your wife looks like a dainty little thing. When she starts to feel weighed down (months and months from now) take her swimming. It's the best thing in the world when you're really really pregnant. :)

Swimming was great pregnant. Are you guys going to have the baby at the hospital or are you thinking about a home birth? Actually, when I was in labour, I had a wonderful jacuzzi at the hospital and a popsicle!

I think it's a good idea to find out what your having. That way you can prepare with clothing and stuff. You can also refer to the unborn baby as a he or she instead of IT.
