Subject: post preview

The forum is now set to allow a preview of our posts before we send them.

Among other things this will allow me *cough* I mean Us to make sure that if we use HTML for a link or whatever, it will work the way that we want. (We can't use the same code we used on the motherboard)

--> check the "reforum" thread, now in archive 1, for some mangled instructions on using HTML here, or learn a bit from a site like this one: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Campus/1924/link.html

Since we can't edit here (unless we're logged-in and who wants to do that?), previewing can at least let us try to catch our mistakes before we post them.

The downside is that each time we want to post, it automatically will send to Post Confirmation first, so don't get confused. You'll get that page instead of the forum. When you send from there your post will find its way to the board.

You know I'm fine with the way things are on this forum. It doesn't matter to me that I can't edit. I just have to post another message. The thing I would like to learn how to do is add links that open, instead of copy and pasting them. I tried to do it like at the CCforum, but it didn't work.
