I took some nominations out, to fit the page. All of them can be seen through the link.
I'm interested in seeing "Crash" and "Good Night, and Good Luck".

Oscars for me again -- stillreign, 16:53:16 01/31/06 Tue [1]
Time for my fav time of year Oscar challange. Last year I saw 22 fims and most of them in two weeks. Let's see how many I can get under my silver-screen belt before the dig day.
Think I am throwing the party this year at my place.

Me too, I'm going to see how many nominated films I can watch before showtime! The ones out on dvd anyway.

I usually do this every year. I believe this is my 6th year now. Everything is in the theaters here even when it is on DVD so that the academy member can see them if they don't have a plush home theater.
It's a game I play with myself to see who many I can see in a short time. It also makes the awards much more interesting. I usually have seen a few during the year, but I don't think I have ever seen more than five or six before Oscar season comes along.

I think each academy members are all sent their own copies of the films nominated. I bought one from Ebay once, not the Oscars but the Emmys. I bought the SNL show with SG.
I can see them having them played in the theatres again in L.A.

Re: Oscars for me again -- 23, 17:21:44 01/31/06 Tue [1]
To be honest, there are very few films on those lists that I'm interested in.
I want to see A History of Violence, Good Night and Good Luck, Syriana and Brokeback Mountain, but I'm not terribly excited about any of the others.
I'm mostly just excited about V for Vendetta. That's the only movie really lighting up my radar.
(Well, besides X3, A Scanner Darkly and Superman, but those aren't until summer).

yeah me too dude, I want to see that puppet film out too "Live Freaky Die Freaky"
But Yeah, X3, Scanner, and V are rockin my boat.
I love films so this is always great fun for me. Also getting out and spending massive time in a dark theater always seems to take some stress off me. And from the looks of things today I am gonna need it.
