This is an excellent forum page. The Le Mat revolver is a fascinating firearm and piece of history. Several things for those interested: 1) James Julia Auction House has an auction this weekend (March 13, 2006) which includes a dozen Le Mats of various styles. Website is www.juliaauctions.com. 2) There is a newly released book on Le Mat entitled The Confederate LeMat Revolver. It is excellent. It is available from Mowbray publishing at www.manatarmsbooks.com. 3) There is an interesting website regading Le Mat, www.lemat.net...look forward to further interaction on this board...
