If everyone excepted your statement "the world is not always fair", we might still be under the rule of the British Monarchy, or perhaps a descendent of Hitler... The fact of the matter is, is that Dan Brewington spent 2.5 years in prison because of bad law and a vindictive Indiana judicial system whose only interest was punishing him for what he was saying about judges rather than following the law. The decision by the Indiana Supreme Court is an embarrassment to the American justice system and like you, too many often dismiss inherent constitutional violations as "the world is not always fair." It is only the weak who sit back and make cynical statements, based only in self-interest (having to see too many of his posts on a public forum) that encourage a status quo of oppression. You are always entitled to your opinion but like so many on the internet today, your opinion is void of any educated, constructive comments. (either critical or supportive) I would suggest that before you make such a dismissive and simple statement as "move on", you might read and understand the court decisions, the rebuttals, both the U.S. and Indiana constitutions, the doctrine of precedent (stare decisis) and then maybe you would understand that this is less about Dan Brewington and more about a judiciary the believes themselves above the law and has put in place precedent that slowly erodes Indiana citizens' liberty and their right to criticize their government. Peace to you too.
