Godzilla would win...he's much bigger than the gocko, has proven underwater abilities, can tolerate strong electrical shocks and bombardment. Yes both have bad, dangerous fiery breath, but its unlikely the gocko would win in a one on one battle.

They are related though in that both are operated by humans inside. Sorry to have to mention this...its a real spoiler, but the zipper kinda gives things away. But, they're ferocious compared to todays tame, singing and dancing entertaining Barney.

I agree, Godzilla would win the battle purely due to size.

The Flash Gordon Wiki reports that "Gockos are multi-colored monsters with fearsome lobster claws who live deep underground on Mongo", which makes me curious how they would have looked if the serials had been shot in color.

The feature version, "Rocketship" was colorized, so if you buy it at Amazon, and you will see a change in color!
