Quite interesting Captain Tim, and I enjoyed watching Gil Gerard's Buck Rogers on TV. It ran for 2 seasons. Overall, it was quite good, the adventures, sets, costumes, battles, stories...especially for TV fare. The first season was a bit more violent and...umm, shall we say lusty than the second. Some groups complained as I recalled and Season 2 was toned downed, considerably.

Yes, Twiki, played by Felix Silla. A 25th Century robot who was moreso Buck's sidekick. Silla played the part well and I can imagine that costume was no picnic to wear, especially with the physical demands required for the part. I did not see Silla in the other roles, but he certainly did a fine job as Twiki. Actually, all the cast members performed quite well in that show. Buster Crabbe had several good, clever lines in saving Buck (Gil Gerard) in an air battle.

The TV series was actually an extension of a movie version with Gil Gerard, Erin Gray, also Felix Silla, and many fine stars and guests. I think the movie and series can still hold up today, perhaps not with all, but many.

Thanks for the info Capt.Tim
