Thanks Commander....very good observations. Guess we all have our favorites, parts, episodes....we can agree, disagree, and that's fine....as it should be. Now, owing to your excellent cooperaton, would you perhaps care for a bobble head of Emperor Ming? Just don't settle for the one with blinking eyes...those have recording devices built-in.

I'm seeing more and more about a 3-D Flash Gordon movie, based moreso on the original comics I understand. With things the way they are these days, who can say for sure. But if I'm still around, I'll be at the cineplex.

Again, thanks for your opinions re our beloved classic FG serials.

Awhile back there was a rumor that Sam Worthington (Avatar, Clash of the Titans) might be interested in the role of Flash Gordon, but apparently that turned out to be false.

Yes, I noticed the blinking eyes on my recently acquired Ming bobble head. A duller Sergeant might have mistook it for flashy aesthetics, but errr, well of course I knew it could hide a recording device! An what appeared to be me taking a long nap in the pilot's seat was in fact my way of testing the recording device's ability to capture a stationary object!

Unbeknownst to many, it seems Emperor Ming sometimes randomly, or if he suspects something, may plant a recording device loaded with Mingochips to spot check for loyalty. Word has it that bobble heads are often used I recently discovered.

I suspect that crafty High Priest had his hand in this. Often monitors things. He may have instructed the Gift Shoppe to give you item with flashing eyes. (Non flashers are ok.) You may be monitored at times. Be cautious, moreso if you talk in your sleep should you nod off. Saying something negative about Ming, his policies, consorting or siding with enemies are traitorous offenses.

It's possible Ming still suspects a connection between you and that Sgt.Time he wants. I am concerned about that High Priest myself. Seems I have a bobble head super glued to my rocketships dashboard. It lights often, is highly animated, and has initials HP carved beneath (High Priest?) Tim, if you have any info about Sgt.Time, now might be a good time to speak. Demotions are possible, unpleasant chores, but I gather no worse.
