1.) Professor Gordon was played by character actor John Hamilton, who played Perry White on TV's "Superman." He was Clark Kent's boss.

2.) Correct design is C

3.) C, the Red Forest as in Raymond's strip.

4.) True, all several horses had the unicorn as Raymond had in his strip.

5.) The gas explosion knocks Flash and Torch off the edge of the castle roof and they fall in the water-filled moat below.

6.) The Great Oracle of Tao in the form of stock footage from "Just Imagine" (1930) which was first reused in FG 1936.

7.) The secret of Ming's power.

8.) B, she shot him dead.

9.) False. The tower was located in the middle of the palace. There was no moat in the vicinity. If Ming had retained his bat-wings from Mars, he could have jumped out and sailed to safety. Had they made a sequel, and Ming's escape would have been provided with a secret trick that only he knew how to pull off. On the other hand, anyone with a ray gun could have blasted the door open and Ming would have exited rather quickly and been safe.

10.) False. The final shot in the serial is of the rocketship in space heading back to the Earth.

Very good, in view of fact this had many detailed, trivia oriented questions. Your comments in #9 were informative. Extra credit awarded.

Except for incomplete #7, all others correct. Hence, we salute you for a high score.

#7 needs amplification....in final chapter, Zarkov explains he learned secret that Ming's power is thallinium, a new element which is a beam of light from the sun where all light and power originate.
