My favorite overall for music....the opening sequence with lightning flash synced to robust action music, aerial battles, "Flash Gordon fight music" (so-called by many), actually much from Les Preludes, "Crucifixion" from Bride of Frankenstein, and march of torches rescue, from shorter USA release of 1930 White Hell of Pitz Palu, a year after release of silent film in Germany. This serial gives an exciting robust music track in general which nicely follow the action and events. I'd venture a guess that most FG fans relate to this music the most with regard to the serial trilogy.
