It's hard to believe it was 30 years ago! A great film, definitely darker than the first. The principal cast members flawlessly reprise their Star Wars (1977) roles, while Billy Dee Williams as Lando and the voice of Frank Oz as Yoda make excellent additions.

And no one knew Darth Vader was Luke's father until it hit the screens! That secret would be impossible to keep in today's internet age.

Wonder if Vultan is flying around this Cloud City, or perhaps making a shadow puppet presentation. Actually, this is yet another example of how ideas from yesteryear affect more modern films. Flash Gordon had to be influential in fare such as this. Check site.......

Sure, King Vultan could do a shadow puppet presentation for Princess Leia. I don't think Dale Arden would mind giving up her seat in the Cloud City puppet show theater for a Princess.

I just hope Leia doesn't respond to the puppet show invitation by telling Vultan that she'd rather kiss a wookie!
