My favorite is the stock footage there from the silent movie..."The White Hell of Pitz Palu"...specifically where the rescue party is marching with torches. Think I like the music. By the way, if your into hiking, mountain climbling, bone chilling sites, or just want to watch an interesting oldie, the movie is available....the shorter version on the Grapevine label has the music in FG. A longer restored version by Kino has superb video, but a different soundtrack.(No FG type music.) I've both, and like 'em both, for different reasons. Look them up in IMDb if you like, and Rick has some links on this.

Also enjoyed any scenes in FGCTU involving rocketship landings and related ground scenes in Frigia. Many more favorites; in fact, I rate this 1940 serial a close second to the 1st FG serial of 1936. While different actors were utilized for Dale and Barin, it was still a great serial, and Ming certainly was at his peak in terms of snarling nastiness. Lots of air battles, weaponry, and action. Felt the music overall was the best in the trilogy, and the scrolling Chapter intro concept was to be used over and over later on.

Further, I thought Carol Hughes played a lovely Dale Arden and certainly could see her if a 4th serial was made; also, Anne Gwynne was of course attractive as the mischievous Sonja.
