Subject: Ultimate Jean Rogers trivia question

What was the name of the Universal film that Jean had to dye her hair a darker brown? What was the name of the film and the year it was made?

OK...this is a guess, based on some brief, informal research, and what might seem logical. Hmmm....I'll say, 1937s "Night Key" with Boris Karloff, and Jean Rogers as his daughter, Joan Mallory. Did I win any Mingols? Or is it a trip for atom furnace duty?

Jean dyed her hair dark brown for 'Reported Missing' (1937) as Jean Clayton. I have the film now. Buster was way off when he said she was working on a film at the same time as Mars was being filmed. The film was shot in May of 1937, some 5 months before Mars began shooting.
