The executives at the studios involved realized that I was well worth the cost of color footage. I made my first technicolor appearance in 1929 in "Rio Rita", a copy of which I have here in my palace. I look a bit younger than in FG but I'm the same old Barin.

Hey Barin....I don't want this stuff to go to your head...it's been thru enough. Keep in mind they demoted you here and there in FG. You had a Centurion helmet in FG '36, then in '38 after burrowing thru a thick wall, you landed on your head wearing a foot-soldiers helmet, not a Centurion type. (Maybe it's why you forgot where you parked your rocketship.) By 1940, they gave you a complete makeover! Didn't matter to me; I thought your earlier appearance was ok. In any case, don't let this Technicolor thing give you a swelled head....Heh..it may still need time to heal. (The Emperor Ming encouraged me to give you this dig. Apparently, he still tolerates you because of his daughter. Have a nice day.)
