On earth, there are many games going on in a short period , many teams, so so many hoops...in March, hence March madness.

Things on Mongo are different, subject to the whims of Emperor Ming. If you've heard anything, let's hear it. Seems the event is like a free for all with Mongonians using whatever means to fight various monsters: tigrons, orangopoids, lizards, octosaks, gockos, etc.

The Mongonians form teams and use weapons of their choice. A handicap is introduced to give the monsters a chance. Mongonians may be blindfolded, or remove their sandals, wear mitts, earplugs, stand in a sack, etc.

The games last about a week. The crowd goes wild. It is not unlike gladiator events on earth, but monsters are the adversaries. The Mongonians who are victorious (or survive)win gift cards ranging from 100 to 1000 Mingols at Ming's souvenir shop, and enjoy bragging rights. But, if they lose, w-e-l-l...let's not go there. Survivor/victors also receive a hoop to be worn over their head in the closing ceremony.

This event is not publicized. Hence, the aforementioned may not be accurate...but I understand THE HIGH PRIEST may have some added info along with other members.

Let the games begin. I can just hear the High Priest repeatedly striking his gong during the closing ceremonies (keeps any thoughts about earplugs to myself).

Has Emperor Ming finished his bracket?
