Favorite sounds..the rocketships, hands down. There are some subtle differences here and there, between the types of ships, the serial (and the stratosleds sound vastly different most of the time). I prefer the Ming or Barin sounding ships from FGCTU, for the most part. Some have indicated the sounds were from a Shick electric razor (hmm.... if so, must have been some early generation version).
Ok, I'll have to include some other "stuff"...as in any electric gadgets, machinery, Tesla like devices, could likely write a page about the great sounds, which went along with the great music. But, the serials are not fresh in mind lately. There are many good sound effects in these serials. They were indeed ahead of their time, in many ways, in my opinion.
