When he hesitated, she shifted a little to run her hand up to his cheek, pressing a soft kiss there and lingering for a long moment before she pulled back. "You're a good man, Kyrian." She stated softly, honestly, before she shifted to get out of the car, reaching in the back to get the bag for Shay before closing the door and motioning for him to come on, not giving him time to respond to her kiss or her words. She was slipping into work mode - one he would know well - which meant she had an agenda to meet and was planning on meeting it.
