(He tipped his head to the side as he looked at her, a sheepish expression taking over his features as he thought back on the six month 'affair' he had had with Courtney Abrams.. he had been twenty at the time, going through his secondary training as a marksman when she had shown up at the naval academy in Annapolis, MD the same week that Remy had shown up.. recruiting week. The seventeen year old had been cocky, intelligent and wholly unapproachable. Things hadn't progressed between them until more than a year later when they had been assigned their first special ops mission.. Remy and Kyrian had excelled together throughout training and had been part of a team with Courtney and three other naval officers that had been sent out to retrieve intelligence from a foreign embassey. Courtney had become intrigued with the funloving and boisterous young man and had pursued him with an obvious interest... though her sights had been just as set on Remy at the time. When Remy had refused her advances, she had turned fully on Kyrian and he had accepted her into his arms and his bed.. in an on again off again affair that had lasted through the entire mission. When they had returned to the United States and been recruited by Delta, he and Courtney had parted ways in a friendly manner.) It was nothing more than a physical relationship that lasted through an extended mission. There was no emotional involvement in it other than the typical concern one has for a teammate. (He smiled a bit as he looked at her, reaching out to lightly move the end of one of the straps from her bare skin, laying it over her stomach.) I've always loved your dark hair.. you just weren't the same as a blonde.. just as lovely but god, I just love how the light plays with your hair now..
