(He had put his hands on the back of the couch and leaned down over Remy, speaking to him in a level voice, trying to calm him if his was in fact just a very intense attack of his condition.. in which case they would still need to get him in because if he got much worse he would seize up and the last thing he needed was to have a seizure. He had only seen it happen to his partner twice, and he didn't want to see it again. When Shay returned, he took the asperin from her and forced Remy to take them, knowing if it was a heart attack that it would help the blood flow freer and possibly save his life.) Come on, just calm down Jer. (He said and looked over at Shay as she sat by his side, nodding a little.) Yeah.. he's been pushing his body for three weeks now at the training center and he's been really stressed out all day long. (He shook his head at Kyrian when he tried to explain his attack as a heart attack.. there was no way that was it.. he was too young, too in shape for that sort of thing to happen to him.. But lord the pain was intense and it was getting heart to pull in a breath, like the muscles in his body were being robbed of oxygen.) Within the first fifteen minutes of Haylie's call, two paramedics had arrived at the door and at Kyrian's directions they had Remy hooked into a portable EKG monitor that immediately told them he was having a minor heartattack and they administered an anticlotting agent. The two men stood up from where Remy was still sitting, his shirt off and the ten small diodes hooked to his chest for the EKG. His eyes were closed and he was breathing irregularly, his hand curled into the arm of the sofa. The taller of the two men looked over at Shay and smiled a little.) You guys did the right thing to call right away, it was a minor heart attack.. but even a minor one can damage the heart muscle. The medication we gave him should be enough to allow his heart to recover on its own, but we will stay here until he stablizes in case he needs to go in.
