(He groaned, because Shay had a way of breaking him down when he was trying his hardest to be grumpy that day. He had thought Sunday's were sacred days of rest, but not for Shaylin McLean - not when the families were arriving and she might actually have to sit down for a few weeks. He would love to have to sit on his ass for a few weeks, but no- he had to work for his best friend and look at his estranged girlfriend everyday. He walked over to the curtains and reached up to pull the rod down with one hand - it was nice being tall and strong - and brought it down to a normal height, holding a hand out when she came over.) They're full of dust Shay, I'll put them in the washing machine and you can do the rest. (He might be crabby, but not with her, and not enough to allow her to be around so much dust when she was so close to having a baby. He slipped the curtains off the rod and set it back in it's holder before balling the material up and carrying it into the entry way where the laundry 'closet' was located.. it was just a closet with the machines inside it. He tossed them inside and shut the door before turning to look at her.) Anything else you need?

He seemed so down and that made her sad because even though she thought he was an ass at times, he was like another brother to her and she loved him dearly. The little apple pie things were one of the few things she could make so it was a good thing everyone raved over them - every woman needed some kind of speciality. "Your going to hide in your room the whole time they are here aren't you? They are staying at the hotel by your guys' headquarters and will be doing mostly a lot of sight seeing till the baby is born so you won't even have to see them all that much."
