(As soon as he heard her open the fridge he came into the kitchen like a dog who heard his bowl being picked up.. he was easily swayed by things going into his stomach and was never shy about his appetite. He took a seat at the table and watched her as she got his snack ready and actually had a smile on his face as she set it in front of him, even though the mention of Haylie coming over had made a sort of dark cloud settle over him. Being so confident about their relationship (or whatever it was) at work was draining him, it was hard to keep up the pretense that he was sure their relationship would work out when secretly he was growing more and more unsure of her feelings for him. Everytime he saw he had wanted to go to her and it was becoming distressing to him the way she remained distant.) Thanks.. (He murmured as he dug into the snack, more than happy to be distracted by food. Thinking about the way Haylie looked at him most of the time made him too upset to even consider talking about her.) He wouldn't do that.. he'd much rather spend time with you anyways.

She smiled softly, running her hand gently through his shaggy hair before she sighed and shook her head, just hoping everything would work out of the best in the long run. "Yeah, well, he needs to hurry up then...all my cleaning is done and I'll get bored before long." She grinned teasingly, stealing a bite of his icecream before she headed into the living room to stretch out on the couch. "You might have to hep me back up from here once I am down."
