(He let out a breath as he realized he had snapped at her, though really he was of the mind that she sort of deserved it for moving out.. he wanted her around and as far as he was concerned he had been showing his desire to have her around when they were together.. at least when she was amiable to him he was. He wasn't the most eloquant person in the world.. it took a lot to get him to open up, and when he did he opened up all the way, most of the time he figured people understood what was bothering him.) Yeah, I guess it's better. (He said under his breath, looking over at Shay's question and eyeing her for a moment.) No, Shay. I am not coming. I'll see you when you guys get back. (He said in a slightly dejected tone before turning and heading into the living room through the open archway, walking over to the plate window and pressing his palms to it, looking out over the skyline without really seeing anything. It bothered the hell out of him that she had signed on for an apartment.. it just reminded him of how she wasnt living with him and now that she was out of the hotel there was no chance of him getting her to come live at the apartment again.) (He smoothed his hands over her arms and pressed a kiss to her cheek, before looking over at Haylie sympathetically.. Kyrian was in a mood and needed a friend.. but he wasn't the friend the other man needed at the moment.) C'mon sweetie.. let's get going. (He picked up her purse from the counter and handed it to her as Quin opened the door for the women, Chris pulling up the rear.)

She just gave the couple a small smile before she turned her attention back to the brooding man who had just stalked away from her. Her anxiousness eased a little as the crowd of people left the room and headed into the hallway, leaving the apartment quiet. A soft breath escaped her lips as she crossed over to the couch, toeing off her shoes and tucking her legs up beneath her, her elbow resting on the arm of the couch and her hand in her palm as she let her eyes follow him. "I have to admit, usually I know what I do to piss you off because hey, it's a fairly regular thing, me pissing you off, but this time I am at a complete loss as to what I did to set you off." She stated honestly, her eyes on him, her voice flat and barely showing her curiosity. She just wanted to know what had pissed him off when he had been ok when she got there.
