(He smiled as she thought about him more than the fact that she was growing a human being inside of her.. of all the things that overwhelmed his thoughts, this was one of the ideas that he tried to avoid thinking of because it overwhelmed him to try and figure it out... He sat up a little, splaying his fingers over her stomach as he looked at her, his head canted a little to the side as his gaze searched hers.) I really like being with Maddie and Jake.. they made me think about what it would be like to be a father to our children.. it made me want this.. (He said as he shifted to lay the other way, so that he could gather her up in his arms, splaying a hand over her belly and pressing his forehead against her temple, tenderly nuzzling his face against hers.) I can get all the leave I need when you're due.. the agency needs me too much and they owe me too much for this stunt they pulled to not give me the leave I request. (He said softly, trying to reassure her, though he would just as soon go rogue to be with her if needbe. His wife and his family would come first for him, and Kyrian would support him in that.) It's too bad you burnt those cookies though.. (He said knowingly after a moment, having deciphered he smell when they came in.)

She cocked a brow at him saying that he wanted this, her head shaking immediatly. "The thought of having a kid this soon had never crossed my mind. Next years an election year, our baby will be an expert in politics before he can walk." She stated with a laugh, resting her head back. There was no way she would quit working and there was no reason she couldn't take the baby with her when she was campaigning with Boelyn. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she shifted, her own hand going to move over her stomach. "I've gained five pounds and I figured it was just from all the take out..." She shook her head, smirking lightly. "I am going to look so awkward! I'm barely over midget size and with a big belly...it's going to be comical. People will stop and laugh."
