(He carried the bags into the living room and set them down near the chaise lounge in the airy room, sorting through them for the bags from the grocery store and then joining her in the kitchen.) Yeah, we usually vacate this place at the same time, in fact I don't think I've ever been here without him before. (He shrugged, setting the bags on the ovesized granite counter and absently started putting away the various items they had bought to stock what was a sparcely filled kitchen. He laughed when she talked about learning to cook and shook his head, leaving the freezer open to load in the pizzas, ice cream and various other easily prepared foods they'd bought.) Baby, I've never used that stovetop for anything that had more than three lines of directions on the back of it. I think we'll do fine with the list. (He pointed over his shoulder to a corkboard that had at least a hundred take out and delivery menus tacked to it and a whiteboard that hung next to it had a list of ten places written on it, some crossed out.) We have a poker game to decide the list, and then when we get hungry we order from whoever is next on the list. (He smiled, men had creative ways of eating, Kyr and Remy were no different.) Looks like italian's on the list next.. (He walked over to load the last of the food away and shut the freezer, turning to her and leaning back on the center island across from her and affectionately stepping lightly on her foot.) Yeah.. it's our place.
