The Mountain View Church in WV is offering folks an opportunity to support The American Cancer Society while at the same time adding beauty to both the church and your home. Daffodils are available to order beginning February 21. They will be placed at the alter on March 24 in memory of a loved one before being taken home. See the back of the church for more information or call Peggy Hlavacek at 744-3923. Church School meets in Walker Valley every Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7pm. Cool Cliff Upright, Walker Valley’s oldest Baseball player, invites everyone to the Ash Wednesday services at the Pine Bush branch on February 21 at 7:30pm. Cliff is also pretty excited about the pancake breakfast that will be held at the church in WV on March 11 from 9:15am until 11:30am. There will be an origami and oriental food gathering at the Bloomingburg location on February 23. Contact Shirley at 800-7195 for more information and to RSVP. The Mountain View Church’s confirmation classes will begin at the Pine Bush location on February 25 from 3:15 until 4:30pm. There will be ten classes with the final class planned for May 20.
