Subject: Semana 7 - "Ensinando a falar inglês"

Respostas das atividades propostas por Kátia Valério, em “Ensinando a falar inglês”.

- Atividade 1 – Instruções (página 111)

In my picture, there is a boy close to the door and he has a ball in his hands. Next to this boy, there is a mouse. The door is opened. There is a table in this room too. On the table, there is a jar with water, a cup with a spoon inside and a computer. There is a woman by the table and she is using the computer. On the wall, there is a picture of the woman and the boy together. Next to the table, there is also a small truck.

- Atividade 2 – Descrições (página 114)

Role Play (page 117)
Student A (native student): What are you going to do tomorrow?
Student B (new student): Nothing at all. I have no plans in mind.
Student A: Have you visited the tourists attractions yet?
Student B: No, I haven’t.
Student A: What about visiting all the attractions? There are wonderful places here. You’ll love, I’m sure.
Student B: That’s a really good idea.
Student A: And, then, we can have dinner in my house. Is it alright?
Student B: Oh, I can’t. I’ve promised some friends of mine to have dinner with them.
Student A: Ok. So, why don’t we go out for a drink after class?
Student B: Let’s do that, then!

- Atividade 3 – Expressar interesse (página 121)

Conversation (pair work – page 123)
Student A: Oh, did I tell you?
Student B: What?
Student A: Last weekend I went to Salvador?
Student B: Oh, really?
Student A: Yes, it was really nice. I visited all that beautiful places we see on TV. Errrrr…. I went with three friends of mine.
Student B: Right.
Student A: Well, we stayed in a good hotel and it was near the most famous beach. It was very crowded, you know. So, we decided to visit other beaches too.
Student B: Mmmm. Did you happen to go out at night?
Student A: The thing is…. Um…. We were so tired at night that we went out only on Saturday. But, anyway, that was a fantastic trip.
Student B: I see. I also visited Salvador, but it was long ago when…
