I think I'll ride english today. * He ties babe up as he goes to the tack groom and brings out a snaffle bridle and his endurence saddle. He carefully slips the saddle on her back, slightly forward of the withers, then slides it back, making sure the grain of the coat is going the same, natural way, and makes sure the numnah isn't catching on her withers. He gently lowers the leather girth and tightens it two holes. He then streches her front legs, so the girth doesn't catch, and tightens it again. He picks the polished bridle of the hook and gently slips the bit into Babe's mouth guiding it with his hands. The mare takes the bit with no problem and Chad slips the head piece over her ears. He fastens the cavesson noseband and the throughlash. He ties her back up for a minute while he goes and gets his hat. He takes Pretty Baby to the courtyard and mounts * Ready?
