Let's just say what didn't happen! The pageant seemed more like American Idol. The contestants voted someone out of top 12 then they got to vote someone back into the top 6. I was stunned. They kept eliminating contestants by calling some forward and announcing the ones who were leaving instead of like they normally do and call out the ones who make it so the ones who don't are not in the spotlight. To me it was very CRUEL and COLD!! The contestants were being filmed expressing their opinions about other contestants and it just wasn't right. It showed that they had bad sportsmanship. It was like a reality show instead of a pageant. I was so turned off and I think that this will hurt the America system. I hope I am wrong.

Also here is a rundown of the top 12. Six of them had kids and 6 didn't. Three of them were 25 or younger and the rest were 27 or older with most of them being 31-33 years old. The oldest lady was 33. Four of them were married 7 or 8 years. Six of them were married 1-3 years and the 4th runner up was only married for 3 MONTHS and was only 18.

Other comments: I feel it was unfair that they had 3 US judges with Connie Stevens being one of them (she just judged Andrea at America). Think about it if they would of had 3 Russian judges and knowing that Russia won everyone would of talked about there being 3 judges from Russia. So to be fair they should of only had 1 judge from US and the others should of been from other countries. They showed alot of the contestants being a little bit "loose". Off camera that is fine because we all need to let loose at times but to showcase it on international TV was uncalled for. I'm glad they didn't try to hide the fact that a mistake was made but the whole thing was just bizzare. By the way it was the lady who was crowning that got it wrong not the MC. I felt bad for all contestants because it seems they were put through alot for the amount of time and money it took to go compete. They were ripped off in a sense. I just hope some good came out of it and something could be salvaged from this whole thing.

What a great representation of married women. People already make fun of Mrs. pageants. This is all we need.
