Subject: Take your photos late in the day when the sun is not high in the sky. This will prevent the shadows under the nose, neck, etc.. It will also help so that the sun is not as strong and your child will not have to squint. The sun should be shining down on your child's face, so it should be behind the photographer. One tip... you can take a piece of cardboard and cover it with aluminum foil to use as a light reflector.
In reply to: 's message, "Hello! I am new at taling photo's and would love any helpful tips. Like wqhen is the best time of day to get a clear shot? (no shadows, light in eyes etc) Is it better when it is overcast or sunny? How do you stop a child from squinting eyes? Should the sun be behind you or in front of photographer? Thanks so much!!" on 08:45:46 07/12/06 Wed
