That's easily solved. It's a well known fault with dirty contacts on the power supply. The DC case and Power supply are very easily dismantled. Do a search (<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.gamefaqs.com,">http://www.gamefaqs.com,</a> maybe) for DC hardware FAQ's, and you'll find the info.
