Torontobreaks Radio 03/04/03 feat Digby Fox

This squinty-eyed breakbeat session took place late night March 4th. It picks up where the last episode left off with some yummy Deviant Electronics, turns into dubby reggae business and some garage, gets funkier for a bit, then disintegrates into underground bootleg mayhem before Digby Fox steps up with a wicked funky breaks set.

Digby Fox is Warren Dent, a UK native who is also well known as a member of Skeewiff, an incredible breaks band on Jalapeno Records, a label with which Warren is intimately involved. Warren mailed me this set last year, but it still really rocks so I thought I’d hook you all up too. Warren represents pretty motherfucking hard with this slick-ass funky breaks set, he establishes the groove right away, then keeps it solid the whole way through. warren.dent@jwt.com
