In reply to: keith 's message, "no,i haven't been there yet. i don't know anything about horses except they have four legs.lol. but how hard can they be? i mean they need to have their stalls cleaned, and they have to have fresh water, and hay, right?oh i prob am making a fool of myself ,right? i guess you'll just have to set me straight on this." on 06:05:01 05/08/06 Mon

Ask what the guys who live on as ranch hands do if you want to hear about a crazy busy day! I told you I only do the scut work you were talkin about - I'd be the one who cleaned the stalled - it's called mucking out - and relaid a new bed of fresh straw for the horses. They can get foot rot real easy so you have to clean the stalls daily and at the stables I work at I also fix the feed and water for when they are brought in - but all the horses I work with are trained for riding already! LOL, lot more than you'd think huh?!! LOL - and I am just learning to do half of what she already knows! Just imagine what my first year at school is going to be like - those morning feeds are at like 5AM and I been starting school this semester at noon! Man you know the freshman get the early shift - ya just know it!
