I suppose the important thing to keep in mind here is that although the Parks Dept. managed to succeed in their demolition efforts, and they succeeded in removing a great deal of the foliage (flora and fauna) along The River, and they succeeded in bamboozling the taxpayers and the governments (City, State and Fed), those people (spoken and read "that element") is still very much alive and well. And, well... we're NOT the ones who destroyed the place to begin with and I don't believe WE'LL be the ones who will ultimately destroy it again. That's all I'll say about it (for now, of course).
