Thanks for the history of the river. Lots I didn't know. But more that I do know. How about that island that was never accessible? Nobody ever bothered with it until they came along to kill everything growning out there. The geese are gone and the turtles are gone too.

The there's the paths that we used to walk when the summer got to be too warm. Gone gone gone. The place is like a little oven. And all the dust and noise coming from the park way?

All they do is demolish and destroy. There was some guy who used to work there a long time ago who really tried to keep the place nice. He cleaned it up a lot and then disappeared. I wonder if they put him under some of that "silt" they're talking about.

Anyway, the place might be a little cleaner and the board walks a little easier to walk but who wants to go down there anymore?
