Subject: Fleadh winner is Junior LAOH member

I am pleased to announce that an Albany LAOH Junior has taken FIRST place in the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh (12-15 yr olds in fiddle). Betsey S. is a past NYS & National 1st place winner in the Irish History Writing Contest. Her winning entry was about her fiddling idol, Liz Carroll.

Betsey will be one of four 12-15 year-old fiddlers representing the US at the All-Irelands in Donegal this August.
