Subject: Angelic Kids MI State Pageant

I'm getting mixed feelings on this pageant and am being told there is still money owed from a past pageant. Before I enter my DD can I get some feedback?? PLEASE and THANK YOU!

We have always LOVED AK pageants, they were one of our first. We are not attending this event but its not due to any of the things that are being said, layoff has just lasted alot long this year then in the past. We hope everyone going does awesome and has a great time.

OK Here's the truth as I know these FACTS to be true. I believe that judging as always been fair. She runs an organized system. The contestants had fun and her parties are great! However, yes, she does still owe Isabella and Remington money from over a ago. I can't speak for anyone else, but that is my experience. I was actually hoping for more contestants so that she could pay us what is owed.

She still owes my daughter from her pageant, which we competed in over a year ago. He paperwork stated that all money would be awarded on stage the day of the pagean, but then at the end of the pageant when contestants were lined up for payment, we were told that she was only able to payout 1/3 of their prize. Not once did she state that she could or would prorate. And through recent correspondance, it seems she has no intention to pay up..EVER. This is not a bash, but the facts of what happend to my daughter and I. And I have all emails and paperwork to back up my statements!!!

I love angelic kids! i was at nationals when she wasnt able to pay out full monies. it was sad, but it didnt keep me from sending a deposit. Like Tammy said, She runs a fair system, the judges are pretty consistant, the pageant is always fun and we have always had a great time.

while the judging may be fair, If you paperwork states that you award all monies on stage day of pageant and you don't follow through then that is not being truthful (in my opinion). If there is a possibility that you are going to prorate then that is fine, put it on you paperwork. Then it is up to the contestants wheter the chose to deal with that possible situation. Not having the situation thrown on them when they are in line to collect there prize. Other pageant put that clause in their paperwork. My daughter, Jordyn and I have been in pageant community for over 6yrs and this is the first time and only time this has happened. And we've been to nationals and states all over.
You can ask anyone in the MI pageant community about me and my daughter. We are fair and honest people and we DO NOT cause trouble I am just stating the facts. I think Annette is a decent person, but don't promise something that you can not deliver and never attemp to make it right.
But of course it is up to you whether to attend or not.
And by the way,I am never afraid to sign my name because I am a honest person and have nothing to hide and everything I am writing is the truth.

I dont doubt that your an honest and fair person, however this board has had a past with people just spouting noise.

And even if no one else does, i appreciate putting a comment with a face. :) I agree it should have been stated before hand that Annette should have made an announcement that she could not make full payments.
