North Carolina is the third largest film and TV production state in the U.S., next to California and New York. John C. Kearns, Jr. along with AMVF Productions (Strike the Tent) presents the highly awaited, independent and currently in development faith and teen issue drama series, "Life In General," which received a distribution agreement in April of 2003 with Xystus, LLC (one of the top Spanish distributors) out of MIAMI, FL. Briefly about the series, Aside from the typical teenage life, it would seem that Paul Wilson, Casey Clark, and Amy Halls are like most, but they are bound by their faith in Christ, to live there best to stay pure. Strong, moral, athletic, and assured, Paul was once the star of the high school football team and comes from a secure family. Out spoken and laid back, Paul is one of two children who live with his single mother. Dating the hottest girl in school, Paul soon understands the meaning of lustful temptation and trying to stay faithful to his commitment of abstinence. Two-faced, manipulative, and cunning, Amy always pursues when it comes to getting what she wants. The queen of the high school and captain of the cheerleading team. The only daughter of her single struggling hard working mother. She tries to convey that she is nothing like her mother and can be described by everybody at school of having the best life and the perfect boyfriend, Paul. But deep down inside, she wants more. Soft, tenderhearted, and religious, Casey the new arrival is very in touch with God and would love to be with someone who shares the same beliefs. Casey, lost her mother at a young age, and grew up more mature then most teenage girls. She is very careful to keep to her faith first, just as her father has taught, since he is a southern minister. After Casey and her father move to town, she closely became friends with the Wilson family. Caseys transition into Amys world creates an instant love triangle between Paul, Amy, and Casey. Although Pauls girlfriend is Amy, he quickly feels a connection to Casey, due to their faith in Christ. Paul and Casey both see the world from a different point of view, then Amy. "Life In General" is a series full of hope, passion, love, right vs. wrong, virtue, character, and all the temptation that life brings to you when growing up. From show creator and executive producer John C. Kearns Jr. , and producer David Schifter, there hope is to inspire others to gain a closer faith in themselves, in others, and in God. Currently this project is currently acquiring Investors, as well as generous donations made by various people, and in the future by Video, DVD, CD and t-shirt sales.
