Hi Robbie:
Those who know you, know that you would never intentionally hurt anyone's feelings, you just got carried away, we know it was meant as a joke and it's unfortunate that people were hurt because of it. I know and your friends know it was never meant that way. You were making jokes about everyone; no one was suppose to take any of it seriously.

To those that were hurt by Robbie's post:

In life there are right ways and wrong ways of doing things.
Robbie may have been wrong in writing that post, but you were most definitely wrong in the way you went about trying to get an apology for said post. You all had ample opportunity to confront Robbie face to face and tell him how 'hurt & upset' you were. You also know his parents, especially his father, and how to contact them, if you thought Robbie himself would not resolve this issue. Yet you chose to say nothing to him.

You're goal in all this was to get an apology, applying pressure to people by threatening legal action may have gotten you that, but the funny thing about applying pressure to get what you want is that you never really know if the response you got was genuine or if it was done just to avoid the threats.

Robbie inadvertently upset and hurt people with his post. You willingly and maliciously went after him in an attempt to teach him some absurd type of lesson, shame on you for taking such drastic measures when there was less drastic ways of getting what you wanted.

JILL
