Spark's Quest:
It takes great agility for this rare task, are you the worthy or are you the cask... You must travel to the great iceburg, it move constantly so be quick. Inside is a golden particle of dust, out of all the snow you must bring me the dust.
************************************************************

*Spark set off after leaving Smaug. She left the evil area, and set off to do the quest. After many days of wandering, not knowing where to go, she decided that she would have to stop and ask directions. She found a wolf pack soon enough, and asked them. They replied that they knew nought of any legend, with a piece of gold in an ice berg, that she was lying and it was all a tale. Spark shook her head, she did not believe them. The dragon would not send her on a fools errand. She left the pack instantly, and set out on her own. The only good piece of information they had give her, was where a large ocean was. They said that they water was freezing cold, so she knew it must be cold enough to support an iceburg. She found it after several more days...it was a huge ocean! Being tired and thirsty, she bent down and began to lap up water. It was salty, and so she stopped drinking. She felt sick to her stomach, but with an act of will held it all down. She shook her head. The wolves were right - the water was freezing! How could she ever find an iceburg in the middle of an ocean? She set out, walking down the shore. As she went on, it got colder and colder every day. She was glad that she had a thick coat of fur. Otherwise she would certaintly freeze to death! She knew that she was going north, and that was why it was very cold. She took that as a good sign - there were large sheets of ice, and yes, iceburgs, moderatly close to shore. She finally saw what Smaug must have meant - she turned her head, and saw it - there, 100 yards off the shore line, was a Huge iceburg. It was humongous! She shivvered, just from looking at it, and sat down to think. How could she get out there? Wasn't it impossible? Then it came to her: she could walk on the ice untill she was almost out there, and then she could swim a little ways - she was a very good swimmer, she could last -gulp- a minute or two in the water. She got ready, and tested the ice with one paw. It held, and she put all her weight on it. She did this all the way to the end of the ice sheet. She had only slipped a few times. She looked out for the iceburg...it had moved while she had been concentrating on the ice! She barked unhappily, and ran down the sheet of ice, running after it. She forgot to look where she was going, and when the sheet of ice came to an end, she fell off - into the ocean. She yelped, as she was underwater, and got a mouthful of water into her mouth. Paddling strongly, she paddled her way up to the top of the water. She took a deep breath of air, filling her lungs. After repeating this several times, she swam. She swam untill she hit another sheet of ice. She clumsily dragged herself onto it. She saw that the iceburg had hit the sheet of ice, and she ran over to it as fast as she could (which isn't very, she's tired). She scrambled onto it, laughing, almost hiersticly.* Haha, Mister Iceburg! Now you can't get away from me! *She stopped laughing, and she remembered Smaug's words...she had to find the particle of gold dust! She shook her head - in the morning. She was too tired. She streached out on the ice, and fell asleep. She woke up thirty seconds later - she could only barely feel her tail - it was frostbitten! She gasped, and stood up, determined to keep moving, she would NOT freeze out here! She thought some more...how could she find a particle of gold dust in a huge iceburg? Then she had an idea. She picked through the snow, piece by piece. Pawful by pawful. Every pawful she had withouth that special glint of gold, fell into the ocean. She looked down - it was hours later - she had a large hollow spot in the iceburg. She sighed. This was much harder then she though it would be. She kept at it, determined not to fail. Finally, about to shake out the latest pawful, she saw it - the glint of gold! She gasped. She set it down carefully, not taking her eyes off of it. To lose it now after all she'd been through...that was a fate to horrible to think about! She thought hard, now she had to figure out how to get it home! A particle of gold dust! In her mouth, she would swallow it too easily! In her fur, she'd drop it. Finally, she decided to just do all the things. She carried it in her mouth as she swam quickly back to another sheet of ice - she had to hold her breath anyways, so she wouldn't swallow it. Then, she tucked it into her fur as she ran down the ice, and then the shoreline home. She ran, without stopping, back to her father, and Smaug.*

((story is continued at the place for evil wolves only))
