Newburgh New York is celebrating with Washington D.C

I am honored to be invited to, "Lift my voice" and co-celebrate with the National Museum of African-American History and Culture.

Our event, "Wearingthecorona," will be livestreamed on the website www.wearingthecorona.com from Egypt at 9:30 EST, 30 minutes before the opening ceremony in Washington D.C. at 10:00 EST. In a short time after the opening ceremony in D.C., the "Wearing the Corona" dedication will take place in front of a replica of the Luxor Temple and directly adjacent to an obelisk to mirror the positioning of the NMAAHC.
In the spirit of this global initiative by the museum to showcase the depth and breadth of African American history and culture across the nation and around the world,
The online event will then teleport itself at noon 12:00 EST to ups

Newburgh, New York, where, I, Charles R. Dudley will host a special art installation entitled "Journey of Faith".

In the true spirit of the national Museum of African-American History and Culture, I have decided to open my studio to visitors, on Saturday and Sunday the 24th and 25th of September, respectively, in the hopes that you would join me as we celebrate the opening of the long-awaited and overdue National Museum in our nations capital.

My multimedia installation is an invitation to take you on a journey of sights and sounds spanning over 50 years. Letters from my mother, whose strong Baptist faith, encouraged and inspired my artistic and spiritual journey, will be showcased, amongst many works never exhibited before.
