"The more things change the more they remain the same." & other cliches that fit Newburgh to a T. Now at THREE of these boards it's all gone the way Newburgh goes, pretty much straight to Hell. Or maybe better put, Hell's gone straight to Newburgh. So many years have gone by and the ignorance just gets worse & darker. The old board at 166166 hangs tightly to the competition against this board which was created because of the arrogance & ignorance of the "fame cravers" of her other. 166166 was opened by "Newcomers" who had & have NO clue about where Newburgh came from, beginning to current. They never wanted to know, never wanted any of Newburgh's history mentioned, their goals & ambitions were to make Newburgh what THEY wanted & let the old timers rot. Most like the Newcomers couldn't wait for us all to either leave or die. We were in their way & they carried their hate to the Internet on the 166166. Today, from what I see, following both boards, this one went silent for some time but the hate spewing of the 166166 just keeps on going & with it, voting trends stagnate to the point of stinking like somebody's septic tank exploded. Newburgh STILL votes for government that they KNOW do nothing but bilk the taxpayers, pander to the lowest forms of life & then slink off into the filth they came from. But DON'T TELL ANYBODY ABOUT THE PAST! The past is where all the real education is & there's NO want for education! OK. So the water's poison, the ground's poison, infrastructure is being built to bypass the old landfill, good old buildings of national historical value are being demolished but WTF? Once upon a time somebody said "The only hope for Newburgh is to bulldoze it level & start again." Well, the bulldozing started in the 60s & over the past half century, it's continuing. Bulldoze? Better to just drop a bomb. And from the looks of what's in "the city", pathetic as it is, "collateral losses" will be few. GROW THE ACTUAL F-UP PEOPLE! You're tediously retarded. Stop the bickering. Good ideas are born & aborted. Learn your history & change from there. (For starts, stop being slaves to the same govt. that wants you leeched to death.) Sad. Just so pathetically sad.
