Subject: Politics & The Brilliance of the Status Quo Pt.I

Sometimes it's really comforting to know that no matter what ever happens, there's a reliable stability in some things that we can always turn to when the rest of the world seems to be crumbling. So it is with dear Newburgh & her politics. Yep, no matter how bad the world might get (or seem to be getting), Newburgh will always remain stead-fast, keeping with the grand old traditions, like electing a government that will continue to handle the affairs & conditions of the city the same way it's been doing for over 60 years. Sometimes we get lucky & there ARE some changes. But even in that we can always rest assured: If there's a change, it'll certainly be for the worse. Take the recent election of Omari Shakur for a perfect example.

EVERYBODY in town knows he's worthless, good for nothing but reproducing, just as certain as those roaches crawling across your breakfast table or showing up in the salad when guests are over for dinner. Omari can instigate, create trouble where there was none, & above all, he can "pollinate"! So SURE! Let him run the show! Foul-mouthed, as vulgar as they come, local wannabe thug, & a perfect representative of his, oh, let's call them "people", just to be kind. And you'd be hard pressed to find a better model baby for the great representation of what Newburgh is & what Newburghers stand for these days.

Need proof? Well, somebody's been more than kind enough to provide not only us, the readers & posters here, but to the country & the world, with some truly wonderful "home movies" of Mr. Omari in action. "Man on the town". So I'm going to post the links to the documentaries out there, for the convenience of all. (Oh, and don't you think for a second, that copies aren't made. You know, just in case the originals "accidentally" go missing or, oh forbid, they "accidentally" or "mysteriously" get deleted. Gems like these deserve to be protected. After all, they're Newburgh history & heritage!)

Here's a great one to start the list. The most recent, I'm told. Kick back, light a blunt (weed), pop a pill, shoot some heroine (you may as well be in the same state as Mr. Omari as you watch). Grab your kids to watch too! They'll LOVE this!
