If it was as simple as doing the right thing and being law abiding they'd be doing it all along and those areas would look like they did before the cancer took over. We wouldn't have this topic to discuss. It's interesting that the people in those neighborhoods have been so destructive. Why ruin the place where you live? Why turn your neighborhood into a garbage dump (people and litter included)? Interesting that it seems they actually WANT to live that way. But maybe the kids will want better for themselves?

Ages? If they can pick up a McDonalds bag or a styrofoam fried chicken and fries container they're old enough. If they can manage a broom they're old enough. If they can redeem empties they're old enough. If they can think about their own kids they're old enough. 7-18 year olds? The older kids could be mentors for the younger ones. They could keep a knowing eye on them. Good practice for when they have little ones of their own. Then they can tell their kids how they took back the streets. Pride and accomolishment.

Esteamed clams I think. They shut up tight in times of real trouble inside their protectivr shells and if you look real close you can see a stupid little grin (happy as a clam). If they can't help make matters better steam 'em up! Crank up the heat under them.
