When the Ewings git quiet it's time to start wundrin'. We're either stone drunk or schemin'. Most times we can be doin' both at the same time. When there's backwoods plannin' goin' on, y'all better watch yer lower 40 'cause the bulldung just might be aflyin' b'fore ya know what happened. Ewings are from the old traditions from a time when folks did good business 'round here. The lovely Mrs. Sue Ellen was a part of the marble NSB. M'self, I was a part of the merchants who had an association on Broadway. Folks got t'gether back then and we ain't all dead yet. So if y'all know what's worth a good horse an' saddle you'll be mindful of the silence, step up and get busy. We got a lot of work to do 'round here b'fore the whole damn place goes fallow. You got any ideas? Put 'em on this here table while y'can. And dew watch the Ewings. We ain't BP. Our slick ain't floatin' on the water. Ain't that right Sue Ellen darlin'?
