Subject: Kentucky College of Exercise, Human Movement and Sports Conditioning

I would like to take a survey here concerning some things we are looking at for the future of the Kentucky fitness professional.

Although the Kentucky College of Exercise,Human Movment and Sports Conditioning is not yet a reality it is very real in my heart and mind. I would like to share with you a moment what this college can be and if you think it would be something you would take advantage of if we get it up and running.

The KCEHMSC is a school of practial learning. We are hoping to partner with Optimum Performance Institute and University to provide the Kentucky fitness professional with a bachelors degree in fitness but we also feel there is a strong need for a practical portion of any online degree. Therefore it is my dream to offer this college.

The college would meet in a class room / gym / weight room setting about 4 times a year for a weekend. The professors would be those individuals that have degrees in Kineseolgy, certified sports conditioning specialists and other professinoals. They would take the most pertinent information necessary for all fitness professionals to know and teach the practical application and require and exam. Once the entire practical portion of this program is complete, we would hope at that time the graduate of OPI and the Kentucky College would then pursue a certification that is an NBFE provisional affiliate and then sit for the natinoal board exam.

Our vision and goal is to make the Kentucky fitness professional the absolute best there is anywhere. So here is my question:

If the Kentucky College of Exercise, Human Movment and Sports Conditioning were to become a reality, would you consider taking courses?

Just answer here with another post indicating your response.

Thank you in advance for your support.
