Sarah Pilan's a hypocrite -- jimmyjazz (cynial about hypocrasy), 16:37:12 09/02/08 Tue [1]

I'm tired of hypocrasy. McCain's running mate Sarah Pilan has an underage pregnant teenage daughter ....yet they don't want Gay people to have any rights. All right I'll say it. Sarah Pilan is a total hypocrite and her daughter is a little whore!!!!!!!!!!! Vote Obama!!! McCain's choice of a running mate proves that he has dementia!!!!

Sarah does not want to continue to have to offset the farcical nature of the Democratic Party's foolishness and hypocrisy. She has likely decided that it is not worth the effort to disprove inane rumors and caustic lies, etc.

Congrats to new Board Members -- Larry Martin, 09:28:11 01/03/09 Sat [1]

I want to congratulate the new board and president. I must say I am not active in the Center but need to be. I was very interested in the comments about a New location for the Center. One thing that really upsets me about our community is that we appear to reside only in run down, 100+ year old communities, in facilities that scare most. That is NOT gay America or SW Ohio. We are in West Chester, Anderson, Indian Hill, Sharonville..we are everywhere. I challendge the new leadership to put us where we can show this area who we really are. Regular Suburban people who are successful.

still mad -- jimmyjazz (outraged), 16:44:45 09/02/08 Tue [1]

I hear Republican hatemongers demonize Gays for wanting to legalize their commited realationships....and VP candidate Sarah Pilan does not want Gays to have any rights...yet her slutty daughter...17....is having a baby out of wedlock. All right...I have my share of fun but at least I'm not a hypocrite and I'm always safe. The hypocrasy of it all! Sarah prides herself as a good mother...and demonizes Gays...yet her daughter turns out to be a fucking whore! Shades of Larry Craig. Fuck you Republicans! Vote Nader or Obama!!!!!

John McCain's running mate Sarah Pilan -- jimmyjazz (sarcastic), 03:14:54 08/30/08 Sat [1]

So John McCain picked a woman...cool idea...but she's totally against Gay marriage and she admitted to getting high on pot. So it's okay for a future Vice President to get high on illegal drugs and join the ticket but my committed partner and I can't make our love official? Does that mean I can rock and roll and smoke a bowl and become the first Gay Vice President? Probably not. You have to be married to be in that high of office and we're not allowed. God bless the fucking USA.

Jesse Helms is dead -- jimmyjazz (jubilant), 09:33:57 07/08/08 Tue [1]

I just got back from an awesome camping trip so I just now got the news. Jessie Helms....the most homophobic Senator ever....who was against Gays and Blacks has died! He died on the Fourth of July! Happy Fourth of July!!! He campaigned to make it legal to fire Gay people and he actually had campaign commercials against affirmative action for Black people. Hell....he'd of put all of Gays in concentration camps if he could have. But it'd be hard to do that now considering that he's dead!
.
.
I know....I know....you should only speak nicely about the dead. Well he's dead. HOW NICE!!

Men Needed for Online Psych Study -- Steven Wease, 11:43:18 06/27/08 Fri [1]

Dear Reader,
We are two undergraduate psychology students researching at Western Kentucky University. Our current research revolves around the connection between muscle dysmorphia, masculinity/femininity, and sexuality in men. Your participation in a short 15-25 minute survey would be both greatly appreciated and helpful in furthering the current knowledge in this facet of psychology.
You should know that you will be able to discontinue your participation if necessary and that all of your responses will remain anonymous. Your responses will only be used in conjunction with other responses to analyze correlations between muscle dysmorphia, masculinity/femininity, and sexuality. If you have questions about this research project, please contact Dr. Rick Grieve in the Psychology Department at (270) 745-4417 or rick.grieve@wku.edu. This research project has been approved by the WKU Human Subjects Review Board. If you have questions about the approval, please contact Sean Rubino, Compliance Manager, at (270) 745-2129 or sean.rubino@wku.edu.
We also ask that you pass the following link on to your male friends and acquaintances in order to generate a sufficient number of participants.

For some reason unknown to me, when they were uploaded they changed their order, maybe because I used 2 cameras or something. Anyhow, I had a few glitches as I was up late editing the pictures. Many were shot 'bracketed" in other words, 3 different settings to assure a good exposure in the bright light. Long story short, they basically start at # 184-185.
Mostly I was shooting as our spiritual center ( New Thought Unity Center, 1401 E. McMillian, Walnut Hills 45206) was showing off our new banner. I take the pictures there, it's a very inclusive community where all are welcome. Click Here to go to New Thought Unity Center's website for more information
Come enjoy the fellowship

Cincinnati Gay Couples Group -- Michael Davis, 16:42:01 01/13/08 Sun [1]

If you are in a gay relationship and would like to meet other local Gay Couples for friendship, PLEASE plan on attending this Meet up!!! Both male and female couples are welcome. Make new friends and strengthen relationships! Meet other local Gay Couples, to develop friendships and, most importantly, enjoy the company and companionship of other gay couples. This group is all about social activities and building friendships.

Being gay and in a relationship has many difficulties and stresses, along with many joys and blessings. Being gay and in a relationship and living in a homophobic society adds to the daily stresses. This is a place where gay/lesbian couples can get together once a month and enjoy each other's company and share ideas, trials and tribulations, networking, advice, friendship and fun. This group is designed to foster relationships. It is not a hook-up place. Single gays and lesbians are more than welcome to join as long as they respect monogamous relationship ideals. Some of the events we have done are barbecues, movie nights, bowling, dinners, camping, boating, concerts, social events, brain storming, and celebrating milestones in our relationships.

Gay marriage/Presidential election -- j (curious), 15:32:11 11/01/07 Thu [1]

Just got an email from the Hillary campaign. Her opponents gave her a pretty rough time at the debate. That aside, here's my concern. Did you see her on the Ellen show (you can look it up and watch on Youtube)...where she flat out states she's not for Gay marriage? Civil unions yes..anything more..no. I'm at the age where I'm thinking marriage should be an option for me. Don't you agree? Hillary for Prez? I'm just not feeling it....but then are any of them for that right? It doesn't look like it. I was hoping this time I wouldn't have to resort to that old "lesser of two evils" thing when voting. Your thoughts?

rock the vote -- John, 18:58:20 10/28/07 Sun [1]

After spending this Sunday having the Justin Jeffre campaign right here on the Westside of Cincinnati I have no doubt that Justin would be a good addition to Council. He mentions the Gay community and our rights and concerns in the very first sentence of his platform. He spent the whole Sunday on the Westside getting to know my neighbors. He should have been endorsed by Equality Cincinati but I guess it's hard to do when you only have nine people to endorse. Obviously Equality Cincinnati's endorsement couldn't mean that much or it's predessescor Stonewall Cincinnati would have never collapsed!

Vote dammit -- John, 13:56:16 10/15/07 Mon [1]

All right...I know last posting I said I wasn't here to endorse anyone politically....for City Council but last nite changed my mind and I'm so glad I can still give "MY OPINION"...yea..I'm that John. It's like this: someone called my cell last pm..wrong # and proceeded to tell me I sound like a "fag"..he said , "dude you just sound queer." Oh hell no! Verbal gay bashing on my phone in my own house. No No.

The hatred is still out there. Leslie Ghiz showed a lot of balls for bucking the GOP and supporting us earning her endorsements from Equality Cincinnati and Log Cabin Republicans. Her job at City Hall was held up by Sam Malone who appointed Chris Monzel to fill Dewine's seat cause he didn't like LG's tolerance for us. Gay men and women. I also like Justin Jeffre..the 1st statement of his platform inculdes his support for us. Roxanne Qualls...David Crowley...John Cranley..Lakita Cole..Chris Bortz......could go on but my favs are Jeffre, Ghiz,Qualls Crowley and Cranley....
That punk on the phone hurt my feelings but at least I'm honest about what I am. I'm Gay and admit it and in my opinion that makes me very much a man. ROCK THE VOTE

rock the vote -- john f, 18:54:32 10/14/07 Sun [1]

Hey folks! The Gay vote is major power...alway remember that. Just because we got the Human Rights Ordianance straightened out and we have gay bashing aknowledged as a hate crime doesn't give us an excuse to drop out of the political process. Vote your conscience. Read up on people who are asking for the privelege of representing us. City Council elections happen soon. I'm not here to endorse anyone. Just make sure you vote and that they endorse you!!!!!! You can go to your local library for an absentee ballot if you don't want to go to the polls.

We've got it like that! We have absolutely no excuse not to ROCK THE VOTE!!!!!! DON'T LIKE THINGS THE WAY THEY ARE?...ROCK THE VOTE ROCK THE VOTE ROCK THE VOTE
