Subject: Guns are Funs

SO I came down to Corpus for a hot rod reunion with all my old high school buddies who were into cars back then. We're getting together tomorrow, (sunday) for a BBQ and some catching up.

Today, my lil bro and I went out the farm in Orange Grove and fired off about 1,500 rounds. I got to shoot my P3AT for the first time, and went through 3 boxes of ammo ($25/box!!!) Then his PLR16, good god that thing packs a punch. I blew my fucking ear drum out because I forgot to put my muffs back on before firing it. We did alot of long distance shots, but mostly doing professional grouping shots. I had 2" grouping at 30 yards with a .22LR and no scope, 1" Grouping at 30 yards with a scoped .270. 2" grouping at 50 yards with a scoped 300 Win Mag, and 4" grouping with my Kel-Tec .380 P3AT at 7 yards. Hell, even 20 rounds through my Ruger MKII handgun popped off the plinker at 15 yards every shot.

I was proud of myself, and my bro, since we aren't big-time hunters, we're not professionally trained, and we don't have high-dollar shooting equipment...we did pretty damn good. Aside from a few jam ups and his PLR 30-rd clips jamming, and his Derringer not working right, we had a hell of a day. My ear still hurts though.
